No. Dashed is entirely virtual. All balances are tracked inside the app — no real money moves, no bank account required, and no financial institution involved.
What age is Dashed for?
Dashed is designed for children and teenagers, typically ages 6–18. Parents control the experience and can adjust visibility and features as kids grow.
How does the invite work?
Parents create the family account and invite children by email. Kids receive a magic link and join with a single tap — no password needed on day one.
Can I have multiple children in one family?
Yes. One family account can have as many child members as you need. Each child has their own balance, goals, and task list.
Is my family's data safe?
Yes. All data is stored in a secure, access-controlled database. Parents can only see their own family's data, and children can only see their own within that family.
Which currencies are supported?
