Please read these Terms of Use ("Terms") carefully before using the Dashed application and website. By using the service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. The Service

Dashed is a virtual money management tool for families. All balances are virtual and entirely within the app — no real money, bank accounts, or financial transactions are involved.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create a parent account. Children may use Dashed only through a parent/guardian-initiated invite or sponsor flow. Youth users cannot create accounts independently. By registering, you confirm that you are the parent or legal guardian responsible for any child accounts in your family.

3. Parental Responsibility

Parents are responsible for supervising their children's use of Dashed, managing family settings, and ensuring that information provided is accurate. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.

4. Virtual Currency

Balances shown in Dashed are virtual and have no monetary value outside the app. They cannot be withdrawn, transferred to a real bank account, or exchanged for real currency or goods. Dashed is not a financial institution, payment service, or money transmission service.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to circumvent access controls or security measures.
• Provide false information or impersonate another person.
• Use the service in a way that could harm other users.

6. Intellectual Property

The Dashed name, logo, design, and all content within the application are owned by or licensed to us. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute them without permission.

7. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or error-free operation. Dashed is not responsible for any financial decisions made based on information in the app.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dashed's liability for any claim arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hong Kong.
